There’s something very appealing and challenging in his work: the balance he maintains in addressing complex themes rooted in the relationship with time, the concepts of family and generation, and questions of identity and belonging emerging from the context of a country as complex as South Africa.

Hiroyuki Masuyama’s solo show at Kunstforum Ingelheim

Marking the first major presentation of his work in over twenty-five years, this exhibition celebrates the revolutionary late 19th-century printmaking of American master James McNeill Whistler through approximately 125 exceptional etchings and lithographs.
