Eugenio Tibaldi | Red Verona

Eugenio Tibaldi is a visual artist whose practice focuses on geopolitical dynamics, migration and the socio-economic transformations of the landscape, understood as a mirror of the conflicts of the human soul. His work is based on an almost sociological analysis of reality, which the artist reworks through multimedia installations, site-specific projects, soundtracks and complex visual layers. By blending historical facts, archival data and fantastical narratives, Eugenio Tibaldi deconstructs the concepts of identity, borders and stereotypes to explore contemporary cultural decline and the effects of globalisation. His works incorporate industrial materials, elements of local craftsmanship and various media — from vinyl to large-scale linear painting —, creating ambiguous spaces imbued with a strong poetic evocativeness where literary fiction clashes with the harsh reality of social and ethnic changes, continually redefining the meaning of living space and community.
