Path to the Sky

Path to the Sky is a delicate and evocative installation— a cascade of small kites, bound together in an embrace, floating silently in the Museum’s inner sky. It symbolizes the unity of human beings, an illusory bridge between earth and sky. Hashimoto’s work resonates with the symbolic and physical essence of the space that hosts it: the Santa Maria della Scala, a place that has transformed through centuries.

is the title Duff chose for this exhibition, and he explains: “The wind is speed, transformation—without origin. It exists not as substance, but as event. A formless presence, made visible only by what it touches, by what it moves.
