… These are some thoughts and provisional titles for our next project:

The work is progressing well on three bodies of new work:

1. Medium-sized thread works;
2. New “bubble” acrylic on canvas works, 30”by48”;
3. Sumi ink drawings on glass, framed in painted wood.

The thread and bubble works are full of color — the working title is “Infinite Edge of Color.”
The Sumi ink drawings on glass tell a story that can be read in many ways — the working title is “Narrative Lens.”

These two series share a common theme: human perception — how we interpret black-and-white photography and how we perceive the relationships between colors. Both aim to explore “the most important process: what the eye absorbs and what happens when it reaches the brain.”
