ATTENZIONE! Quell’Arte Che Viene e Che Va Dalla Fotografia

This volume documents the group exhibition “ATTENZIONE! That art which comes and goes from photography”, curated by Giacinto Di Pietrantonio at Studio la Città. The exhibition tackles the crucial theme of visual overload and the hyper-saturation of images in the digital age, analysing how the excess of content generates a communicative paradox and a severe attention deficit. From reinterpretations of childhood to web-based Bic pen drawings, right through to ‘war colour palettes’ and the atmospheres of magical realism, as explored through the work of five leading artists: Nando Crippa, Loredana Di Lillo, Marco Palmieri, Giuseppe Stampone and Vedovamazzei.
