In this context, contemporary artist <strong>Kevork Mourad<\/strong> takes center stage: his work <em>Suspended in Time<\/em> engages in a dialogue with historical testimonies, shedding light on the often-forgotten memories of those who were enslaved.<\/p><p>The exhibition brings together an extraordinary collection of historical works and artifacts\u2014drawings, paintings, ship models, weapons, and letters from prisoners\u2014that recount the experiences of Muslims and Christians forced to serve as galley rowers, servants, or musicians in the ports of France, Italy, and Malta.
