In fact at times it can even come between the viewer and my work. A deeper understanding will come with time, when the viewer begins to feel instinctively the connections that underlie the work. Perhaps this is why I make my pieces as beautiful as possible. The viewer should be attracted, intrigued: at this point he will already have begun to journey together with the work. This might never be expressed rationally, and perhaps it is better that it is not.
